Frequently Asked Questions

Can my daughter still play high school or other sports, or participate in other activities?

Absolutely! We have kids that play just about everything. From field hockey, to ice hockey, volleyball, basketball and soccer, to other activities like drama club, science fairs and band! We believe kids can really benefit athletically from playing different sports, and other activities are important parts of young people's development! Our practices, conditioning sessions, tournament and league schedules will never interfere with those obligations. We understand that there may be conflicts from time to time, but there should be 100% commitment to our practice, tournament game schedules at a minimum.

Will Execution Fastpitch conflict with High School?

Execution would NEVER conflict with School or School Sports Obligations! There's no better way to work on in game skills than in live games! Practically all of our girls play HS Softball! We understand the friendships and dedication to these teams, as they are probably the origin for your daughters love of this sport. Our winter program will actually have your daughter well prepared for High School, Middle School or Recreational Town Leagues.

Can my daughter play Summer/Fall ball with her Town Team?

We have learned from experience that if our club team participates in summer league, we don't get to practice and develop our skills for our Tournaments as much as we need to. During the summer tournament season, we are committed to player/team development, and preparation for our Tournament Schedule.

If your daughter chooses to play on a town league summer team it can actually hamper their development as a player, they risk injury and over use, burnout. All of which can adversely affect our team chemistry. Playing time may be affected with us at tournaments due to missing practices, declining skills, developing bad habits, or suffering injuries while playing for other teams. Player development and Tournament Team chemistry can be severely hindered by choosing to play summer league games elsewhere, over practicing and scrimmaging with their Execution Fastpitch.

Can my daughter play for other tournament softball clubs?

We hope the commitment to our club would be enough, but technically if a player wants to play for another club in a tournament they may, as a guest, but only on weekends that we DO NOT have a tournament. As an active Execution Fastpitch roster member, it means the other club you might play with as a guest for MUST file paperwork with USA Softball and pay a pick up player fee, if it is a USA sanctioned tournament. Any player wanting to play as a guest for another team, must inform their Execution head coach as soon as possible.

Can my family still go on vacation, can my daughter still go to camp? Can my player hold a job during the season, and is work an acceptable excuse for missing practice or games?

Yes, just HOPEFULLY not on tournament weekends! The initial draft of our 2027 Summer Tournament Schedule should be set by Thanksgiving, leaving plenty of time and space for family getaways or other family obligations.

Can my player hold a job during the season, and is work an acceptable excuse for missing practice or games?

Players are welcome to work or hold part-time summer jobs; however, work shifts are not considered an excused absence from scheduled practices, workouts, or tournament bracket play.

Execution Fastpitch is a highly competitive program that requires a full team commitment to run effective practices and field a competitive lineup on the weekends. Because a single player's absence impacts the development, safety, and game strategy of the entire team, we ask families and players to plan their work schedules entirely around the team calendar.

Our practice and tournament dates are posted well in advance so players can proactively coordinate their availability with employers. If a player chooses a work shift over a team event, it will directly impact their playing time and defensive role during upcoming tournament play.
